GOMEZ RESEARCH

Gomez Research is an independent marketing research firm located in Pasadena, California that provides expertise in public and nonprofit marketing, social marketing, and corporate social responsibility programs. We are a network of senior consultants with specific expertise in the full range of industry sectors. As a small, specialized firm with a network of professionals we can offer the services of a diverse staff at pricing below that of larger firms without compromising quality.

Sophia Gomez, founder and principal owner of Gomez Research, has been consulting since 1997, serving a wide variety of state, local, and nonprofit agencies. Her consulting experience includes focus group facilitation; the design, implementation, and analysis of survey research; program evaluation; and three years as President of a small consulting firm in West Los Angeles. She holds a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning with an emphasis in social research methodology from the University of California at Los Angeles and a B.A. in Journalism.

Ms. Gomez has directed research projects for Orange County Department of Health Services, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works, the California Integrated Waste Management Board, the California Department of Transportation, the California Department of Health Services, Los Angeles World Airports, and private universities and foundations, among other organizations. Gomez Research is certified by the State of California as a small business, and by the City of Los Angeles as a women's business enterprise (WBE).
